Julia Gould - Honored with a reception at the June 5 - 6, 2012 AACON / GANDD Meeting!
Julia Gould, RN, MS retired on March 31, 2012. Julia served as the nursing education consultant for the Georgia Board of Nursing for thirty-three years. During her time as a staff member of the Georgia Board of Nursing, board members, executive officers and other staff members came and went but Julia provided a sense of stability and historical perspective to the newcomers and sustaining members. Julia’s career has been marked by tireless service and fierce dedication.
Mrs. Gould was honored at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Annual Meeting and State Assembly held August 8-10, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. At this meeting, she was recognized with the Exceptional Contribution Award, given in honor of her significant contributions as a member of Georgia's board of Nursing (BON).
