MISSION
The Georgia Association of Nursing Deans and Directors (GANDD) serves as a unified voice for all Georgia nursing programs, educators, and academic leaders. We promote excellence and collaboration across nursing education through advocacy, leadership, and shared standards that advance Georgia’s healthcare workforce.

Key Themes:
• Voice for educators and leaders — not just deans/directors.
• Unity across all program types and sectors (USG, TCSG, private).
• Membership engagement and representation.
VISION
GANDD transforms nursing education in Georgia by serving as the preeminent, sought-after authority and consultative body for nursing education. We envision a future where Georgia’s nurses are practice-ready, resilient, and adaptable, prepared to lead in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. GANDD is dynamic and future-focused — constantly anticipating what’s next for nursing education and healthcare workforce needs.
Supporting Concepts:
  • Reimagine nursing education within the healthcare landscape.
  • Be ready — flexible, mobile, and responsive to change.
  • No new or closing programs should occur without consulting GANDD.
  • Vision must be dynamic — always looking toward tomorrow.
